What is a geodesic dome?
About
A geodesic dome is a rounded structure composed of a network of triangles that efficiently distributes loads across the entire building. Strong and lightweight, this architectural form is particularly well-suited to nature-based accommodations. At Dômes Charlevoix, it has been adapted to the Quebec climate to create comfortable, four-season accommodations that open onto the landscape.

From geodesic domes to eco-luxury accommodations
A geodesic dome is not necessarily accommodation. For Dômes Charlevoix, it goes far beyond the traditional glamping tent; it creates a self-contained and comfortable space that allows you to experience nature without sacrificing the qualities of a hotel room or chalet.
A dome designed for
our Quebec winters
At Dômes Charlevoix, every detail has been carefully considered to allow you to fully enjoy nature, whatever the season. Adapted to the Quebec climate, our domes are insulated, heated, and equipped with heated floors, in addition to a wood-burning fireplace that adds warmth and comfort to winter stays.

An architectural project designed with Bourgeois / Lechasseur
Designed in collaboration with Bourgeois / Lechasseur architects, the Charlevoix Domes were conceived to blend seamlessly into the mountainside and open up the experience to the river and the forest. Their distinctive architecture, both minimalist and immersive, has garnered attention from several design and architecture publications, including Dwell Architecture.
